Slitting and Wave Splicing Machine
Precision Coil Slitting and Wave Edge Joining Solution for Metal Processing
The Slitting and Wave Splicing Machine is a specialized equipment system designed to perform two critical operations in coil processing lines: slitting of metal coils into narrower strips and wave splicing (zigzag joining) of coil ends for continuous, uninterrupted production. This dual-function system is widely used in the roll forming, tube mill, and steel fabrication industries where coil handling efficiency and material continuity are essential.
In the slitting stage, the machine accurately cuts wide coils into multiple narrow strips with uniform width using precision rotary knives. These strips are then recoiled or fed directly into downstream equipment. The wave splicing stage uses a zigzag cutting and joining technique to connect the trailing end of one coil to the leading end of the next, allowing for continuous operation without stopping the production line.
Built with heavy-duty frames, high-speed rotary tools, and a PLC-controlled system, this machine ensures excellent slitting precision, strong and smooth wave joints, and minimal material waste—making it a vital solution for high-output and automated coil processing operations.
